Yuzu Japanese @ The Gardens

Today 30-12-2011 is our auspicious celebration in conjunction of the end year 2011.

We have chosen Yuzu Japanese as our dining place because it's convenience to everyone and there hold a promotion on Shabu Shabu set buffett (around RM40/person).

We have booked a VIP room that can accomodate 16 of us. The place is quite spatial, my rough estimation it can fit around 200 people at one time. There are an open kitchen for sashimi preparation and bar as well.

Our Sukiyaki Shabu Shabu
The soup and beef slice are refillable.

Free Set Sushi from Sukiyaki Shabu Shabu 
The potion are generous and the quality of their creations are consistently top drawer.

Another Free Set Sushi from Sukiyaki Shabu Shabu 
Personally I love this more than the first sushi set. The teriyaki sauce is well blended with mayonnaise and sushi itself.

Kushiyaki Negima - skewered chicken with leek 
It looked scrumptious but I don't have chance to taste it.
This dish is specifically ordered for Jerry Zai and 7-Eleven cause both of them don't take beef.

Tsubudai Shioyaki 
Rustic and contemporary.

Fusion Sushi 
The most expensive sushi I ever had, which cost about RM10/piece. I just managed to try one type and the taste is amazingly great. The chef had decor it tediously to ensure the aesthetic of it.

Salmon Sashimi 
The most fresh and thick sashimi I ever had in town.

Yokowa Sashimi 
A good try on this as well.


Overall I rated the food 9/10 with the exception of Shabu Shabu set. 
It's not a good choice to pick this dish in Yuzu Restaurant.
In terms of pricing, it's slighly higher than Rakuzen and Zanmai but food quality is much better, value for it. I will pay a second visit for other dishes especially the 'stone grilled beef'.
