Cheras Yulek Kui Lam Pork Noodle House - MUST TRY!
*This is a Pork Specialist as they offer an array of pork from tongue, ear, waist and intestine. Of course, the ordinary pork mince, pork meatball is a MUST in the dish. Just nestled along Jalan Lobak (same row with Sushi Village and OUG Chicken Rice).

The menu shows there are variety of pork potions offered.
*Please ensure your visit starts from 11am and not late than 1pm, cause its selling fast.

The price here is slightly higher than normal kopitiam pork noodle but the soup is amazingly great, with no regret to order in soup base.

Overall rates @ food stall:
1) Food        : 9.5/10
2) Price        : 8/10

Cheras Yulek OUB Chicken Rice

Their signature dish - BBQ pork and roasted chicken

Apart from the above, they did offer wantan noodle, curry noodle and other vege ala carte

The staff are wearing OUB uniform, a value added point to their professionalism

In terms of food, there's nothing to shout about their signature dish, just so so only

Overall rates @ food stall:
1) Food        : 5/10
2) Price        : 5/10

Cheras Yulek W&M Claypot Rice
*This restaurant name sounds weird because they serve mixed rice but doesn't synchronize with their name. It's just located along Jalan Durian, hardly can find a restaurant solely serve mixed rice in Yulek.

More than 50 dishes are served and I noticed there's about 5-6 pots of signature dish in claypot style.

The place is outfitted with wooden tables and chairs.

In my point of view, I'm just curious how are they survive with the rental of RM2,500/month for just selling mixed rice, how's the business running? Ooops, I'm so familiar with the area rental due to my nature of business in property.

Overall rates @ food stall:
1) Food        : 5/10
2) Price        : 5/10

Cheras Yulek Restaurant Tai Kee (corner shop)
Famous with its Teo Chew Rice stall, which is opened more than 15 years in Yulek.

Signature Dish - Salted Vegetable

Stew Pork

Stew Egg

Out of the above recommended, you may try their stew beancurd, chicken and duck as well.

Overall rates @ food stall:
1) Food        : 8.5/10
2) Price        :   7/10 (bit pricey)

Cheras Yulek Cosy Corner Lam Mee
*Just located underneath the flat along Jalan Durian and this is actually a branch of Pudu Lam Mee

I have ordered lam mee attached with their ala carte - Yong Tau Foo. Personally felt the Yong Tau Foo taste just so so only and it's bit small in potion at price of RM1.10/piece.

Apart from Lam Mee, they did serve curry mee, prawn mee and asam laksa.

Overall rates @ food stall:
1) Food        :   7/10
2) Price        :   6/10 (bit pricey)

Cheras Yulek Kopitiam Say Hoi (corner)
*Just located along Jalan Kaskas, which is famous with its 'Fu Yoong Siow Pao' but unfortunately its closed the day I visited the stall.

On the spot, I decided to order the Prawn Noodle which is among the table most people ordered. The taste was just so so, nothing special. In fact, I felt the Yulek night street Prawn Noodle is much better than this.

Overall rates @ food stall:
1) Food        :   5/10
2) Price        :   standard

Cheras Yulek Palace Rice Vermicelli
*Nestled along Jalan Kaskas

Full of crowds during lunch time

Specialize in Rice Vermicelli. Anyway, my view towards the rice vermicelli and soup, just moderate only but the dumpling taste great.

There are still rooms for improvement for its carrot cake and glutinous rice.

Good try on its Fu Zhok Yi Mei, Shuet Yi and Ginger tong sui. If the 'tong yuen' is homemade, then this will be perfectly matched.

Overall rates @ food stall:
1) Food
    - rice vermicelli soup : 5/10
    - dumpling soup          : 7/10
    - glutinous rice            : 4/10
    - carrot cake                : 4/10
    - tong sui                     : 7/10
2) Price                          : standard

Cheras Yulek Her Wei Noodle House
*Nestled along Jalan Kaskas

Famous with its fish head noodle / rice vermicelli, soup tasted just so so but amazingly their fish fillet is nicely fried and taste sumptuously.

Fish Fillet - MUST TRY!

Otak Otak, not my favor so hardly can comment its taste

Menu with attached pricing

Overall rates @ food stall:
1) Food        : 7/10
2) Price        : 5/10 (slightly higher)

Cheras Yulek Hahasiu Pan Mee (Corner)
*Pan Mee Specialist which is just along Jalan Kaskas

Hakka Zha Yuk (Fried Pork) Pan Mee

Pork Noodle Ingredients -  Pan Mee

Homemade chilly and special sauce

Honestly I really don't understand why nowadays everywhere also Pan Mee specialist, people really love eat Pan Mee or they don't want to hassle what other food can consider?

Overall rates @ food stall:
1) Food        : 7/10
2) Price        : 6/10 (cafe price tag)
