This is my first movie in 2012.
It's a horror movie directed by Darren Bousman (who is also a director of Saw II, III & IV). The story focuses on the date 11-11-11, a time when a supposed gate way will open and something will come through.
It's about a famous author (Joseph) with his philosophy in logical and anti-religious believed. He had written a book known as 'Darkness' with millions of fans who had the same philosophy with him.
In contrast, his brother (Samuel) is one of church's pastor in Barcelona, Spain. Samuel is facing some issue in managing the church, followers are getting lesser and lesser, and eventually the church turned, Samuel forced to hold church services at a mini garden.
Samuel's disappointment forced him to start a conspiracy plan to make 11-11-11 happened as a mysterious date and time. His plan ran smoothly it changed Joseph's philosophy and all his experiences noted in the diary given by. Samuel continued with his murder plan towards Joseph so that all of Joseph's fans will believe in what is written in the diary after his dead...
Personally I felt this is bit hard to digest cause towards the end only I managed to reveal the truth behind. I don't think people who believe in Jesus Christ will favor into this movie cause it had sour touch onto the religion.
Overall rates are 7/10.
